This is Good News, and a Necessary step to returning - Sanity to the American Mortgage Difficulties. This...MERS, was Created to Help....BANKS, not PEOPLE. It was a Convenience Device to ASSIST the Banks and Other Mortgage Originators... in BUNDLING their Mortgages Quickly and Painlessly to 2nd Parties for Packaging as Mortgage Backed Securities,....the VERY Problem which LED to the DEBACLE in Housing that lasted for over 5 YEARS !

But, it has Come out out in the Past Several Years, that there was Much Abuse, and Some FRAUD in this System; Homeowners were Being Foreclosed on, But couldn't even FIND OUT....WHO Owned their Mortgage and WAS Foreclosing on them !!!

This is a CLASSIC Example of Corporate Desire to Grease the Skids of PROFIT Making,...at the EXPENSE of the CITIZENS of America !
